Daryl Hall and John Oates first met at a band competition in their hometown of Philadelphia, while they were both attending Temple University. From there…the rest is history! They teamed up to create a unique and harmonious style—often branded “Rock ‘N Soul”— which spans the spectrum of rock, soul, pop, R & B, funk and more.
In their 30-plus year career, Hall & Oates have had a whopping 34 singles on the Billboard charts, eight number one hits, and have sold over 60 million albums worldwide. They wowed the audience at 1985’s Live Aid concert in Philadelphia, with a memorable set that included the original members of the Temptations and the Four Tops.
