Contemporary country singer Phil Vassar— often called ‘the hardest working man in country music,’ had been a chart-topping songwriter, long before making his mark as a singer. He has written material for every other country singer like, Alan Jackson, Collin Raye, Jo Dee Messina, Tim McGraw —even Engelbert Humperdinck. These days, he sings his own songs. His current album is entitled “The Traveling Circus.” His hits include, “Just Another Day in Paradise,” “Prayer of a Common Man,” “Six Pack Summer,” and “That’s When I Love You,” to name a few.
